Home page and layout per user profile
Each profile can have its own landing page after login, and the same page can be shown with different layouts depending on the profile of whoever opens it.
Until now every user landed on the same dashboard after login and saw each page in the same layout. A customer portal needs something else: the customer goes straight to their area and sees shared pages, such as their own profile, inside the portal layout.
The profile form now has an Access tab, with the post-login home page picked by search among the active pages. In the page editor, a switch opens the list of profile and layout pairs. The router applies the layout of the logged-in profile and keeps the default for everyone else.
The home route is validated again at login: if the page no longer exists, the user goes to the dashboard.
In short
- Post-login home page picked by search
- Alternative layout per profile, in the page editor
- Visitors and unmapped profiles stay on the default layout
