Automated releases through GitHub Actions
Each version is now packaged and published by an automatic workflow, starting from a tag.
Version 1.7.0 automated the releases. A version tag triggers the workflow that builds the package and publishes the release on GitHub.
The system and the installer have separate workflows and tags, each with its own numbering.
That published package is what, a month later, the automatic update started to feed on.
In short
- Package built from the tag
- Automation workflows in the repository
- Versioning by tags
