Forms use the default email when a template is missing

A form configured with an email template that does not exist, or is empty, no longer fails: it uses the system's default template.

Each form can name the email template used to notify that a submission arrived. If the named template had been deleted, or was empty, the notification did not go out.

The system now tries the configured template and, failing that, uses the default one. The subject and the reply address are checked before sending, and the address the form submits to also gained a default value.

The same batch fixed the forms panel, which built a wrong address in background calls and did not send the protection token.

In short

  • Default template when the configured one is missing
  • Subject and reply address checked
  • Submission address with a default value
