The panel saves a global AI model list

The installation chooses which AI models are available in the assistant, and an extension point allows narrowing the list per user.

An AI service offers several models, with different cost and capability. With no control, the assistant's selector showed them all.

What changed

The AI panel now stores a global list: each model in the catalogue is enabled or disabled for the installation. The assistant's selector shows only the enabled ones.

An extension point

Before building the selector, the library passes the list through a filter. A module or plugin can use that filter to narrow the list by user, profile or plan.

The library alone does not enforce that rule: it offers the point, and the policy belongs to whoever registers the filter. Narrowing what appears in the selector is also not the same as blocking access to the service; the security documentation covers that difference.

Enabling a model in the panel does not guarantee the AI service offers it for the configured key.
